A guitar pedal which has DSP inside, masquerading as an analog pedal. Think chase bliss but programmable from a laptop or phone.

You'd have e.g. a chain of them 4 or 5 or 6, where there would be a handful of physical variants but really the pedal is a physical interface to the (probably a raspberry pi?) DSP for effects.

The pedals would have a changeable "plate" woudl would contain - art - indicates of what the buttons and knobs do - an NFC(?) that when the pedal is switched on contains the "settings"

The pedal woudl then reset to the settings on the NFC. In this way you coudl swap "plates" or buy additioanl plates to "reprogram" instantly presets - e.g. change a pedal from pitch shifter to a delay, or a reveb.

I think you;'d have differnt physical variants

• a 3-nob (where nobs are analog), with a 3-position switch on each, along with a singel footswitch
• a 6-nob (where nobs are analog), with a 3-position switch on each nob to select variations, along with a double or tripel footswitch

A piece fo software that would detect each pedal and allow a visual programming of effects - from a librsary or an editor, then dragging into a "plate" which could be dragged onto a virutal pedal
